We help families resolve complex, challenging situations involving wealth, business, and intergenerational relationships

Who we serve

Our clients are families and trusted family advisors.

We support families through complex, stressful transitions that strain family relationships and put family wellbeing at risk. Examples include:

Conflicted family businesses

We help resolve competing visions for the future of the family business. We address underlying family dynamics to distinguish the "work of family" from the "work of business" so both can thrive.

High risk wealth transitions

Estate plans often "get stuck" when family dynamics create hesitancy and block open, constructive communication. We help families resolve underlying issues so all generations can move forward with clarity and peace of mind.

Elder legacy roles

Family elders can be the source of insight and perspective that sustains family values. In the modern world, this asset is too often undervalued. We help both elders and subsequent generations purposefully integrate the wisdom of this vital family role.

Recoupling and decoupling relationships

Discerning whether to recommit or decouple from a relationship requires exceptional courage. It is often an act of interrupting patterns of behavior passed from one generation to the next. We help individuals and couples make this choice with clarity and compassion for themselves, their children, and the family as a whole.

Polina Crotty, CFP, CPCC

Co-founder, Lead Family Advisor

Polina is a Professional Co-Active Coach and a Certified Financial Planner™ with twenty years experience in the fiduciary area of the wealth management field. Polina’s work is greatly influenced by her training in Compassionate Inquiry™ - methodology developed by Dr. Gabor Mate, as well as the Family Constellation framework - a systemic approach which uncovers deep seated patterns and limitations and creates forward movement in individuals, families and organizations. Polina immigrated to the USA as a Jewish refugee at age 13, from Taganrog, Russia, a city just an hour east of the Ukrainian border, at the time of the Soviet Union collapse. The experiences of straddling two cultures, of having roots in countries that are now at conflict with one another, and of seeing families starting over greatly inform how she holds the clients’ stories, histories, and movement towards their visions and dreams. Polina is a long standing practitioner of mindfulness practices, lover of nature, photography and poetry. Graduate of Wesleyan University, she enjoys continued learning, co-creating and collaborating with professionals, artists, healers and visionaries to promote a deep sense of belonging and integrated wholeness. Polina and her husband Tim are living in and restoring a 1700s home in Granby, CT, watching their three children grow and blossom, and as often as possible sharing a sunrise or a sunset with them.
